It has four basic characters- Annie (Liana Liberato), Charlie (Chris Henry Coffey), Will (Clive Owen) and Lynn (Catherine Keener). Annie is a 14-year-old girl and Will and Lynn have played the role of father and mother respectively in the film and, Charlie who plays a role of online sexual predator. Annie is a school going shy girl. Having less friendship in the school, she meets Charlie through a social networking website. Initially, Charlie convinces Annie that he is 16.
